About two months ago tragedy hit my family really hard. My brother-in-law had a stroke due to a heart attack. He is young and fit but unfortunately he has a genetic heart condition that caused his stroke. As a result, he has severe brain damage and is currently in a persistent vegetative state. My sister has been fighting for him to have the best care. My sister was finally was able to find a center that is closer to her called Mission Center in Riverside. This place not only is clean but the RN’s and CNA’s are always busy taking care of the patients around the clock and on top they are seasoned and well trained. They are also compassionate and proactive with James by doing muscle exercises on him, taking care of his hygiene, and they talk to him, acknowledging that he is alive and deserves respect. That helps stimulate his brain. They have been incredible to my sister and optimistic. Immediately James has improved due to his care and primarily it’s God’s work & mercy. These nurses are spiritual and incredible with the care. They have taught my sister how to care for James and have been informative with all things regarding James progress and values. Mission Center has been the exception. If you are struggling with your loved one like we have, see if you can get him into this center! Many blessings to all who are fighting for your loved ones, don’t give up and keep going and push pass the pain, God is with you and in this center. These nurses are angels! I am so grateful to the staff at mission care center for all of the love and care they gave to my father while he was there. Every single person we encountered was very caring and helpful down to our smaller request. My father was transferred here from Kaiser after a heart attack and was in a coma and had a tracheostomy. He was unable to care for himself so the level of care at the staff was at the utmost importance and exceeded our expectations. If you are going through the same situation, you can feel safe knowing your loved one is here.

Having my husband leave the hospital to transfer to a sub acute care was terrifying for me because of all the horror stories you here. We prayed fervently for God to take us to a good place. We ended up at Mission Care Center in Riverside. I can’t begin to express the high level of care we received. Every staff member was amazing and spiritual. They were patient with how meticulous I was with my husband’s care and they were eager to please. I wasn’t afraid to leave him when I had to go home because Every time I came back I could see they were extremely amazing in his care. I will forever be grateful to them. Thank you Julie! My dad stayed at Mission Care Center for several weeks, and I can’t say enough good things about the care he received. The staff was incredibly diligent, attentive, and kind. They went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable and well taken care of. Everyone we interacted with was compassionate and supportive, making a difficult time much easier for our family. I would highly recommend Mission Care Center to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones.
